    Higher Nature: Beauty from within.

The festive season is on us, and with it comes endless parties, events and get togethers. But, it's also cold, and the ability to pick up colds, coughs and other bugs is inevitable, or is it? Higher Nature is a health and wellness brand that not only does skincare products, but also supplements and things like multivitamins, different drinks, a sweetener that's a healthy alternative to sugar called Zylosweet and different sprays to help relax and unwind at the end of a busy d

London Design Festival: Decorex 2017 - In Collaboration With Treniq

Decorex International is finally here, and with it comes the ability to find out whats new, whats up and coming, and what's older but here to stay for the long haul! This year celebrates 40 years of Decorex, so it was a particularly exciting event to visit as part of London Design Festival. There were many interesting themes coming across at Decorex International, and one that came through on a lot of stands was the sense of bringing the outside in using greens, browns, and s

London Design Festival: Preview In Collaboration With Treniq!

For a while now, I have had messages, and comments, about when will I start posting about luxury interior design. Truth is, I have thought about doing it for a while, but needed something to kickstart it. For my non-disabled readers, I'm going to be doing general product favourites as well as focusing a little more on products and designs suitable for disabled people, whether that be those like myself who are wheelchair users, those with a hidden disability. or those with ano

Executive Room, Novotel La Rochelle. (Part Of The French And Spanish Road Trip)

As part of my accessible hotel series, and leading on from the last review of the Mercure Libourne St Emilion, allow me to introduce you to the final hotel Brett and I stayed in as part of our French and Spanish road trip, Novotel La Rochelle Centre! Novotel La Rochelle Centre is a 4 star hotel in easy reach of both the seafront, and the city centre. There is a large car park with plenty of parking, and the hotel is extremely spacious with large entrance area, and the rooms t

Are Power Plates The Answer To Losing Weight As A Wheelchair User?

A few weeks ago, I had an email from someone asking if I'd lost weight or if something else was going on. Well the truth is that in the last 4 months I've lost 13.5kg and I'm not about to stop anytime soon! It's a well known fact that wheelchair users who acquire their disability often quickly put on weight in the first few months of the life changing rollercoaster that comes with a new health condition/injury etc. Within 4 months of being diagnosed with Spondy, my weight sho

New Series: Best Premium/Luxury Cars For Wheelchair Users

Recently, a lot of my readers have been asking for me to do a series on cars, to go alongside my Accessible Hotel series. So if you've been wondering where on earth I have been, well apart from recovering from a broken hand which I did 3 and a half weeks ago, I've been preparing this new series for you all! As many will know, I myself drive a Mercedes-Benz. You may have even seen my YouTube video about my B180 AMG Premium. If you haven't, I've popped the link in at the bottom

Mercure Grand Hotel Bristol: The Worst 4 Star Hotel Ever?

First of all, let me start off with this. I will always be completely 100% honest in my reviews, even though I hate being negative! Like really, really hate negativity. Brett and I stayed at this hotel as a treat away with the rewards points that I'd racked up last year in my Le Club Accor account. Looking on the reviews and facilities of the other Mercure in the city centre, I choose this one due to the fact that it had actual spa facilities and not the 'spa' that Holland Ho

    I won a giveaway!

After all of the pain of the week with my car needing to go into the repair shop last week and still not having it back, I had a much needed lift of mood the day after the car actually went into the repair shop! A few weeks ago I entered a giveaway on Facebook that Salamandar Gifts in Fleet was running. Well Friday morning came and I'd got a notification to say I'd won! The goodies in the giveaway came to a total value of over £100 which I'd say is very good for a giveaway ru

    Shopping at Bicester Village!

Firstly, I am so sorry that this is later than expected! I actually went to Bicester Last Thursday but due to circumstances beyond my control I've only been able to do this today. I'm also not going to be able to do a haul video this time around however, I will be doing one next time as I've still got plenty of vouchers to use! Getting to Bicester Village is actually pretty easy, you can drive there (if you're brave enough) or, like me you can drive to Oxford, where if you're
